The Threes look to get back to winning ways as they take on fourth place Shire Academics Reserves in YAL Division 1. The last time these Clubs met was close to Christmas when the Threes put in a strong second half performance to get past Shire. Since then, Shire have lost just once, and will be a tough test for a relatively bare Threes squad.

The Threes will be hoping that Henry Stevenson can continue his good goal scoring form, having scored 10 goals in 9 club appearences in all competitions. The Threes are without Captain Niall Temple again as he continues to recover from a broken wrist, but do welcome back stalwart defender Jack Perrett to the squad.
